The Operations and Information Management Department has three teaching groups: Business Analytics, Operations Management, and Global ICT/IS Management.

We also have four research centres:
Advanced Services, Cybersecurity, Circular Economy and Crisis Management. We are planning to launch another research centre in Applied Business Analytics (ABA) in the near future.

The ABA centre will also be well placed in supporting Aston University's research commitment to leading research in the areas of digital innovation and transformation with the establishment of the Aston Digital Futures Institute.


You will have a good quantitative first degree, or equivalent, as well as a higher degree in a relevant academic discipline.

You must also be able to demonstrate an emerging pedagogical path of effective and innovative research, teaching, and learning.
