What you will be doing

Working in a similar role in a regulated, financial services environment you will assist the Head of Legal in providing day to day legal and regulatory advice to the business relating to our mortgage origination and banking activities.

You will need to demonstrate similar legal experience gained within a finance environment and will have general knowledge and experience in dealing with data protection related matters.

You will also assist with company secretarial and general administrative duties as well as engaging with internal and external clients.

No two days will ever be the same as you may find yourself checking a contract one minute and updating a policy review the next

A law degree or equivalent is essential as is the ability to work innovatively and being able to think on your feet.

Regularly, communicating with both internal and external customers you will enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise with others and meeting the needs of the business, putting complex jargon into understandable, coherent language.
