Weekly hours: 37

Shift patterns:
Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 Friday 08:00-14:00

The purpose of the Team Leader role is to maximise the performance of site operations by directing the daily, weekly and monthly activities; To provide leadership, motivation, training and development of the workforce, executing against customer requirements, operational performance and "making DHL a great place to work".

Some of the key responsibilities for this role are:

Team management, plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
Daily Housekeeping and weekly waste walk activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members in line with company policies
Report any breaches of Health & Safety regulations and incidents/accidents
Maximise accuracy, productivity and space utilisation

What do we need from you?

Experience in a Supervisory role in a warehouse environment
Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
Computer literate
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
