About The Role:

We have an exciting new role for a Head of Publicly Procured Services.

In this role you will be leading Alliance Healthcare in the expansion of its current portfolio of services provided to public bodies including:


  • Medical distribution and associated services commissioned by any branch of DHSC and equivalent public bodies in the devolved nations.
  • Adjacent services commissioned by other public bodies (e.g. local government, DEFRA, Home Office, Department of Defence etc.)
  • Innovative services devised by AHDL using its competencies piloted or commissioned by any branch of DHSC or other public bodies.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Developing relevant services and leading any associated market access strategy for the new services including public relations approaches
  • Networking with commercial teams, decision makers and other key stakeholders in relevant public bodies
  • Improving Alliance Healthcare's performance against public procurement policy priorities

About You:

You will be an expert in public procurement and contracting, with excellent communications skills. You will have the ability to work under pressure and set ambitious targets.

You will be a strong communicator and influencer of internal and external stakeholders at all levels with a track record of finding creative solutions.
