If so, welcome to Beech Ward.

We are a 16 bedded, acute female mental health ward, for patients over the age of 65.

Situated on the Birch Hill Hospital site, (a Pennine Care NHS Foundation site, which offers free parking for staff).

The ward is covered by 2 Consultants, and is supported by other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team - Occupational Therapist, Pharmacist, Advocacy etc.

The ward has close links with other Rochdale Older Persons Mental Health Services which are based on site - The MERIT team (Community Mental Health Team), The Home Intensive Treatment Service, The Care Home Liaison Team and the Memory Clinic.
