Implants, Oral surgery, Periodontal Treatment, Invisalign, and Teeth whitening as well as all general and cosmetic dentistry
About You:
About the Role:
Full/Part time -Minimum of 28 hours per week
Working alternate Saturdays 9-3 We do not open on Bank Holidays
Evening Shifts:
Minimum of 2 x 8:00 pm finish per week
Salary - £ generous monthly bonus (regularly achieved)
Reporting directly to the Team Leader & Practice Manager
About the role:
- Ensure the reception area is tidily and professionally maintained to give a positive first impression of the practice.
- Meet and greet all visitors including patients in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Take charge of all Dental Plan documentation, sign ups, scanning, uploading, amendments to individual plans,
- Using a computerised diary system to book new appointments and manage exiting appointments.
- Undertake general administrative tasks i,e filling, scanning and photocopying.
- Managing office inventory and replenishing stock as required.
- Handling payment from patients following completion of treatment.
- Creating patient records accurately, ensuring no duplication.
- To review and implement any new administrative processes.
- Follow up on open courses of treatment, outstanding recalls, and cancelled appointments effectively and respond to online enquiries from various platforms in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide follow up calls for our patients who have undergone oral surgery or implant treatment
- Any other duties, commensurate with the grade of the post.
About you:
1. 5 G.C.S.E's including Mathematics and English
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with different stakeholders.
- Ability to develop creative approaches to problem solving.
- Experience of working in a front facing customer service role (in a Dental setting would be advantageous).
- Experience of using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong IT and keyboard skills.
- Experience of maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexibly to respond to emerging needs effectively.
- Strong organisational skills, with good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively.
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to the principles of data protection and patient confidentiality.
- Willingness to undertake training required for the role from current Front of House Lead
- Positive attitude to Health & Safety
