Focus 5 Recruitment is on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to join one of our key clients, a social media, marketing, and licensing group focused on making social simple and taking creative content to the next level.

They own huge media brands,license amazing content to the world's biggest media companies and grow communities for some of the UK's best-known consumer organisations.

They are a creative, media and social agency, specialising in community management, social strategy, and media amplification.

Who have grown and managed some of the UK's biggest media brands and their team is jam-packed with the expertise to do that for otherbrands too.

Their commercial team is there to connect that great work with brands, agencies, and organisations of all sizes.


Business Development Manager:


As part of the commercial team, you will play an important role within the new business function of the client.

You will work closely with our agency, account management, and creative team to win new business accounts.

As a the sales manager, you will be responsiblefor generating leads, outreach, and pitching campaigns of varying sizes across our brands and agency services.


As a Business Development Manager, you'll be:

  • Identifying new opportunities across agency and direct to brand
  • Achieving KPI's and revenue targets across the quarters
  • Accurately forecasting each week
  • Utilising internal systems and resources for lead generation
  • Staying up to date and educating yourself on the latest trends in social media
  • Building relationships with regional and national agencies
  • Working with other departments collaboratively on any pitches
What we're looking for in a

Business Development Manager:


  • 3+ years in a B2B role
  • Ideally experience with a media agency or media owner selling social
  • Proven track record of achieving and/or exceeding targets
  • Strong social media experience
