LEVEL 3 NURSERY PRACTITIONER

Pay scale:
£15 - £18 per hour


Hours of work: 30 hours per week (term time and school holidays)


Monday to Friday

21 days holiday allowance (School holidays only, or set number of days agreed with company)

Official start date:
July - August 2023


We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team at one of our wraparound care venues in central Cambridge.


Premier Education are working collaboratively with primary schools to deliver exceptional before and after school care that is innovative, inspiring and above all a safe environment for all in our care.

Your role will be to provide activities in a safe, secure and fun environment, providing an outstanding service for busy parents.

Premier Education successfully run full Wraparound provision in primary schools in the Cambridge and Newmarket area. Our Premier Wraparound centres are Ofsted registered and can provide high quality out of school care for the parents. With this in mind we are looking for an outstanding applicant with experience to lead one of our venues.


Care will be available in the breakfast club and the after-school club every Monday to Friday in term time, and during school holidays.

Responsibilities:


  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care.
  • Develop and implement ageappropriate activities and educational programs.
  • Promote the physical, social, and emotional development of children.
  • Observe and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents or guardians.
  • Maintain accurate records of each child's daily activities and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and engaging learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress.
  • Uphold high standards of health, safety, and hygiene.

Requirements:


  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
  • Have a genuine passion for working with children and providing quality care.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of child development principles.
  • Show creativity and enthusiasm in planning and delivering engaging activities.
  • Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in a nursery or early years setting is desirable.
