Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team in the dual role of Double Glazing Fitter and Surveyor.

In this role, you will be responsible for both conducting site surveys and installing our double glazing products. Your expertise in measuring, fitting, and ensuring the proper installation of our products is crucial to our customers' satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Surveyor Responsibilities:

  • Visit clients' properties to conduct thorough site surveys, assessing measurements, and specific requirements.
  • Discuss and confirm design preferences and product choices with clients.
  • Provide accurate measurements and specifications to inform the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless communication of customer needs and expectations.
  • Document survey findings and share them with the installation team for proper preparation.

Fitter Responsibilities:

  • Perform installations of double glazing windows, doors, and other products according to manufacturer guidelines
  • Ensure the precise fitting and alignment of products, making any necessary adjustments for a secure and energyefficient installation.
  • Inspect finished installations for quality, ensuring they meet our high standards and industry regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any questions or concerns during the installation process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of waste materials.
  • Collaborate with the surveyor to resolve any onsite challenges or discrepancies.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in both double glazing surveying and fitting.
  • Excellent knowledge of double glazing products, installation techniques, and industry standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and fitting.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
  • Selfmotivated, adaptable, and able to work independently.
  • A valid driver's license
