We are looking for an enthusiastic University Graduate who can work as a Classroom Support/ a Cover Supervisor who can inspire children and young people with complex learning through a highly personalised curriculum.
You will be working with children and young people who need engaging, creative, practical learning and so delivering staff need the ability to thrive in a flexible curriculum structure and fully utilise SEN School fantastic facilities to offer personalised programmes.
Staff at this Lewisham School school are encouraged to take a creative approach, seeking ways to positively engage with and motivate all children and young people through sessions that promote learning as well as offer experiences, develop independence and promote life skills.
The Cover Supervisor position will deliver lessons to all the children and young people who attend the provision when the teacher is absent as well as covering Teaching Assistants when they are absent.
About the SEN Provision:
The young people at this School all have an EHCP.
This provision meets the needs of a range of SEN including: Autism, Learning Difficulties, Mental Health & Medical needs and related behavioural difficulties.
This School provides care and education to children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.They are leading and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in their care.
