What you'll be doing

  • All units within Gaza Barracks are supported by this post.
  • Utilising SLAMIS, manage the JNCOs accommodation in Gaza barracks on behalf both Commanding Officers.
  • Maintenance of all the scaled accommodation stores, informing all SQMS's of any issues and requests for new stores
  • Assisting the QM/RQMS with the implementation of the 4Cs control procedures of all visitors and contractors to 5 Medical Regiment ensuring Health & Safety legislation is adhered to when carrying out maintenance in barracks domestic and technical accommodation.

Conduct the following Management checks reporting findings to the RQMS (M):
  • 1. Monthly inspection of accommodation scaled items.
  • 3. Conduct the weekly L8 checks of any vacant rooms in Gaza Bks and record any findings and pass to QM LD/QM 5 Med Regt if and when required.
  • Provide early notification of information to the RQMS regarding critical shortages/difficulties that require management intervention and demanding through the appropriate systems.
  • Be in attendance of all march outs to receive the keys from the SQMS or representative for the SLA.
  • Be the point of contact and confirm completion of the work requests/repairs for all the SLA within Gaza Bks.

Experience

  • Knowledge of all applicable systems and processes
  • Knowledge of company timelines and deadlines
  • Knowledge of customer and client documentation, competition and deadlines

Key requirements:

  • Must possess NVQ level 2, ECDL or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of working in a similar environment is desirable
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
