Our client is an award winning real estate developer in London that strives for excellence in every aspect of its operations with sustainability at the heart of everything they do.

To help drive this commitment towards net zero, they are looking to appoint an
interim Sustainability Executive to compliment the team for a 12 month contract.

Reporting to the Sustainability Director, your role will be to ensure the sustainability agenda is seamlessly managed and executed across all development projects.


Role responsibilities


As the interim Sustainability Executive, you will be responsible for researching sustainability initiatives and build relationships between the client, project, business, and the community to help with the sustainability and social value agendas.

As this role is client facing, the position demands excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude.

You will play a key role in helping to shape the sustainability programmes and their ambitious future plans and this opportunity offers tremendous scope to make a real impact, offering excellent career prospects and profile within the business.

This contract duration is months.


Profile
- knowledge of sustainability initiatives, Life Cycle Analysis & carbon reporting

  • Ability to support the implementation of internal controls to support sustainability efforts and compliance through design, construction and occupation
  • Minimum 3 years experience in property development or construction is desirable but not essential
- good level of commercial awareness

  • Excellent communication skills and confident conveying complex matters to stakeholders
