Foreman

We're looking for a Foreman to join our Alderney team based in Bournemouth, Dorset.

Location:
Bournemouth, Dorset - can offer some working from home.

Contract:
Permanent, Full time - flexible start/end times are available, if desired, just let us know.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Foreman you'll be working within the Alderney team, carrying out the supervision & management of a defined unit of site resources to deliver the construction, commissioning, and transfer into supply of a new 82MLD Water Treatment Works (WTW) to replace the existing Alderney WTW in Bournemouth Water supply area during AMP7.

Your day to day will include:

Managing safety including giving inductions and effective Toolbox Talks, Daily Task Briefings and Point of Work Risk Assessments to operatives.
Allocating duties to operatives.
Key involvement in enabling work tasks.
Supervising operatives to ensure tasks carried out are within their levels of their skill and expertise.
Organising and requisitioning site equipment, plant and materials to ensure completion of works.

What are we looking for?
This role of a Foreman is great for you if:

NVQ 1/
Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card
Supervisor, Experienced Supervisor or Manager.
Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).
Experience in piling, large diameter pipes, and precast & insitu concrete.
