Description
Calvert Reconnections is a Neuro-Rehabilitation Centre provides a residential centre for people in the post-acute phase following an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), tailoring a programme to meet individual's needs.
We are a clinically lead team who uses physical exercise, outdoor activities and group work in a social environment as key factors within our post injury rehabilitation service.
Our unique service focuses on 'learning through doing' in the outdoors, supported by a multidisciplinary team in a purpose-built residential centre.

The Business Support Co-ordinator will support the Registered Manager/Head of Service, in providing overarching business support and guidance to the Reconnections team, thus ensuring the continued high delivery of a bespoke person-centred rehabilitation and care service.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Finance & Systems
- Oversee the maintenance and development of old and new processes across the business, ensuring our people are trained and compliant in all areas, and meeting CQC standards.
- Maintain on site IT, including network, intranet systems to required standard.
- Ensure financial information is accurate through timely invoice processing and cash reconciliation.
- Basic bookkeeping duties, supervising payroll, invoice and expense management.
- Responsible for petty cash accounting and staff expenses.
- Oversee the allocation of resources, providing the Head of Service a monthly budget consolidation.
- Develop and constantly review office processes and procedures to ensure they are effective.
- Ensure office compliance with regards to GDPR and the recording and sharing of information.
- Accurately collate statistics identifying trends for the business use and providing informative reports to the Head of Service monthly.
Operations
- Work closely with the Head of Service to support Board meetings, including the preparation of financial and other papers
- Provide support for contract negotiation as required, ensuring contracts are signed and retained.
- Support the Centre Support Manager in the development of Rota.
- Risk Management, work with colleagues to identify risks to the organisation.
HR
- Supporting managers in the recruitment process, ensuring all preemployment checks are completed and recorded.
- You will use Care Control to record staff data, rota management and train new staff in its use.
- Prepare various people documents, including new starter and probation.
- Work with team to ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures and paperwork.
Business Support
- Ensure the reception area is run professionally and in a welcoming manner.
- Ensure that all telephone calls are recorded and managed professionally and efficiently.
- Take responsibility for the office management including control of documents and stationary.
Health and Safety
- Ensure that a good and current understanding is maintained in respect of Health and Safety legislation.
- Liaising with the H&S Advisor to maintain compliance with health & safety requirements including fire safety.
- To ensure compliance with the Trust's health and safety policy, including
- Undertaking risk assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are in place.
- Coordinate the review of risk assessments operating procedures in accordance with policy

Hours:
The hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week. Flexible hours within the 37.5 hour per week by agreement.
Salary:
Salary is £24,000 to £26,000 per annum. Dependent on qualifications and experience
Pension:
The Trust operates an occupational pension scheme with defined contribution, the National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) and for eligible and non-eligible jobholders enrolled in the scheme both the employer and the employee will make a contribution.
Eligible jobholders, as defined by legislation, will be automatically enrolled into NEST unless you decide to opt-outHolidays: 28 days per annum, including Bank Holidays.
Contract:
Permanent position after successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
