Primary Teacher (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)

About the role:


Opus Education have built close and long-standing relationships with schools, nurseries and multi academy trusts across we are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers (EYFS / Key Stage 1 / Key Stage 2) to provide ongoing planned andad-hoc cover for the many schools we work with in this area.

Not all supply work is the same, neither are all Supply Agencies

We are pride ourselves on finding the best Teachers, supporting them in their new roles, providing feedback and matching them with the right Schools.


Working for Opus Education you would earn a minimum of £120 per day up to UPS3 (£213 per day)

Requirements:


  • Have previous EYFS, KS1 or KS2 teaching experience.
  • Be an enthusiastic and motivated professional.
  • Be fully qualified; have a UK QTS.
  • Have experience with small group intervention/booster work and SATs, however not compulsory.
  • Be an ambitious individual who aspires to lead.
  • Be confident in classroom and behaviour management.
  • Establish warm, supportive relationships with all pupils whilst also creating a welcoming, safe environment.

Responsibilities:

_Educate_ individuals and groups in whole class lessons, small groups and practical sessions

_Develop_ individuals by providing feedback to individuals on their achievements, progress, and any problems that arise
-
_Enhance_ each lesson in advance by preparing classrooms, lesson materials and equipment
-
_Encourage_ individuals and groups to interact and engage both within the class and during activities
-
_Create _trusting relationships and be adaptable around individual needs and working styles to promote good conduct and behaviours
-
_Provide _a safe and healthy environment and follow safeguarding procedures
-
_Review _individuals work, write reports and ensure all records are up to date
