Description
Part time caretaker required for wedding & events venue

Duties include but limited to

  • To maintain a presence on the premises throughout the specified times
  • To open the venue, check the building on arrival and lock up at the end of events checking toilets, doors, windows and lights to ensure that the building is secure
  • To understand the heating controls and take meter readings before each event
  • To be familiar with the fire regulations
  • Setting up tables and chairs for the events
  • To undertake light cleaning duties as required
  • To ensure that venue is cleared at the end of each event
  • To liaise with the Events manager in relation to bookings & setting up
  • Minor grounds maintenance duties ensuring that litter is cleared regularly from all external grounds
  • Have a flexible approach to the role
  • The ability to prioritise workload effectively, with good organisational skills.
  • Detail conscious.
  • Able to work from own initiative.
  • Good Communicator.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 12 per week


Salary:
From £11.00 per hour
