As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations by performing various accounting tasks.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about finance and wants to gain valuable experience in the field.
Duties
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
- Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with monthend and yearend closing processes
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis
Skills
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Workday, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, or QuickBooks
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Familiarity with financial services industry standards and regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
