About the consultancy and vacancy?

Known as one of the UK's leading, independently owned multi-discipline Design Engineering consultancy, this company are going through a phase of growth and looking to complement their Building Services team with an Altrincham based Electrical Engineer - someonewith just over a years' experience in Electrical Building Services Design with the desire to really kick on with their career.

This level could be described as Intermediate but ultimately, we are someone who can work fairly independently alongside a SeniorEngineer.

With over 8 offices around the UK and over 50 years' experience establishing themselves across the country. They work in all sectors, have a reputation for their emphasis on digital/BIM Engineering. Project sectors vary but their current workloads seem to beheavily towards the healthcare and education sectors. Small hospital refurbishments, all the way up to large new build schools.
They encourage all their engineers to get out on site, everyone from Graduate to Director level, giving you the chance to see what you're putting together, rather than just seeing these buildings on the screen

Their existing team of 15 engineers is in a phase of growth and they're hoping to add 4 more engineers to their team in the next few months.

They have a brilliant track record of developing more junior engineers due to the fact they have several very good,experienced engineers in the business which focus on mentoring and training the next generation.

What this consultancy are looking for from the successful Electrical Engineer - Building Services?

A relevant Electrical Engineering degree, either in Electrical & Electronic, Building Services or Architectural Engineering
A good understand or working knowledge of software packages such as AutoCAD and Revit
Ideally around a years plus proven experience in Building Services Design
Outgoing, motivated and team player attitude.
