Axon Moore are partnering with a progressive and profitable manufacturing business based in Leeds to appoint their Finance Director.

This privately owned business has a turnover of £60m and this person will be a key member of the board and responsible for managing the financial aspects of the business' 3-5 year strategy.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

Overall leadership and development of the finance function
Assessing viability of investment in new product lines and routes to market from a financial perspective
Due Diligence and assessment of potential acquisition targets
Ensuring discipline and sound financial management of reporting, controls, forecasting and cashflows
Along with the Financial Controller ensure all monthly and annual reporting requirements are adhered to, including statutory year end and audits
Managing relationships with third party advisers such as banks, insurers, lawyers etc
Ensuring international trading activities take place effectively and efficiently, managing risks, process flows and foreign currency implications
Qualified Finance Leader with significant experience in a senior leadership role
Manufacturing experience would be a strong preference for this role
Experience in a business which trades internationally
Acquisitions experience would be preferred
Driven personality and someone who can bring people with them, impart the vision of the business on their team and a possess willingness to succeed
