Description

SAFE Taskforce Project Coordinator

PO3:
£42,510 per annum, rising in annual increments to £45,711

Secondment / Fixed Term (March 2025)

Hybrid Working

Lambeth's SAFE (Support Attend Fulfil Exceed) Taskforce brings together mainstream schools and multiple stakeholders including Education, Children's Social Care, and the Police to commission evidence-based interventions to
Support young people with challenging behaviour, enabling them to
Attend school regularly so they can
Fulfil their potential and prevent costly poor life outcomes by inspiring them to
Exceed their expectations.

Cross government departments led by the Department for Education, have awarded funding to March 2025 enabling the Taskforces to effectively engage our most vulnerable children aged 10-14 years old.

Lambeth SAFE Taskforce interventions include a mentoring service; a primary school transition programme; a social skills and sport offer; a speech and language therapy service; and we are exploring a barbershop experience with talking therapy.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised dynamic professional with exceptional interpersonal skills to join a small team of likeminded people.

The postholder will be responsible for a broad range of activities with the ability to plan and prioritise a busy workload.

The Project Coordinator will work in close collaboration with the Commissioning Lead to procure services, and lead on school referrals to ensure the right children are identified and consulted on their needs.

This role is vital to drive through progress and execute secretariat tasks, reporting to the Department for Education and the programme evaluators.

Training is provided via the Commissioning Academy to ensure high quality interventions are delivered, best practice is identified, and lessons learnt are incorporated into service delivery.
