Description

Immediate start for SEMH teaching assistant in a secondary special school in East London.

Long Term role to start immediately with a view to going permanent
In class support, small group intervention and 1:1 work
Behaviour management and deescalation
Join a highly skilled multidisciplinary team

The school offers an excellent level of education and care and considerably improves the life chances of highly vulnerable pupils.

There is a very strong emphasis on boosting confidence and self-esteem.

We are looking for a strong classroom practitioner who shares this commitment to the high quality education of vulnerable pupils.

Applicants for this role should ideally have experience working in a PRU, alternative provision or similar environment previously, We are looking for confident practitioners who can gain the respect of challenging teenagers whilst still maintaining the right professional boundaries.
