We're hiring Content Executive, Brighton, UK


As a Content Executive, you will support the wider marketing team to create and deliver content to the natural and organic industry.

And help attract visitors to our events, Natural & Organic Products Expo, Natural Food Expo and Natural Beauty Expo. You will be part of a busy, hard-working but fun department. You will be responsible for content including editorial, newsletters, press releases, social media, and seminar programmes.

Diversified Communications UK is part of a rapidly growing, highly successful trade exhibition and media group. Our head office is in Portland, Maine, USA.


In the UK we organise 17 highly successful trade shows, all of them leaders in their sector, and publish several market leading trade magazines.

We also produce a range of digital products to support the industries we work in. We have over 110 highly motivated and talented people working in our Brighton and Peterborough offices. They are focused on creating the best possible exhibiting and visiting experiences for our customers.

The role includes:


  • Keeping abreast of news, researching, and getting under the skin of the natural and organic industry.
  • Curating and creating content for newsletters, blogs, internal and external editorial, and press releases.
  • Managing aggregated news content on the website, knowledge of Wordpress a bonus.
  • Create, schedule, and post social media communications.
  • Able to deliver brand consistency across website, marketing comms, events, social media, and blogs.
  • Deal with enquiries from journalists.
  • Participate onsite in the running of the live events.
  • Work closely with the Event Director to coordinate all aspects of the seminar programme.

SKILLS:


  • 12 years' experience in a content led or marketing role.
  • Skilled copy writer and proven ability to create engaging content.
  • Exceptional skills in grammar and punctuation.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and business IT systems.
