We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious Senior PR Account Executive.

The job will be an 80% / 20% split of social media management and more traditional public relations.

The successful applicant will be a confident writer and able to produce compelling copy and content for the media, blogs, websites and social media channels.

As a small but friendly agency we need someone who can get stuck in and thrives on delivering results.

Coming up with creative ideas and pushing boundaries while also being aware of the constant changes with social media and the importance of content marketing.


We hope to find someone who can add their own twist and who isn't afraid of coming forward with ideas.

Open Communications is an established agency with a strong reputation.

Based just outside of Leeds in West Yorkshire the team are responsible for accounts which cover FMCG, manufacturing, hospitality and leisure, professional services, construction and more.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Managing social media accounts
  • Creating content to be shared across social media channels
  • Community management across social channels
  • Reporting / analytics and evaluating social activity
  • Coming up with creative ideas
  • Taking part in brainstorms
  • Engaging with clients
  • Attending events and collating content
  • Drafting and uploading blogs
  • Drafting, distributing and following up press releases
  • Working as part of a busy agency team

Salary:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Education:


  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
