Working at a massive, modern and well equipped manufacturing facility in Sheffield, you will be helping the team create arguably the biggest purchase that people make in their lives - their homes

The company is a relatively new player, but they have substantial backing and experienced management, and are already carving their niche in this exciting part of construction.

As the Manufacturing Engineer you will have a fascinating role supporting the manufacturing operations and being part of the engineering team to look at how the manufacturing line can be further streamlined for efficiency, profitability, quality and safety.

There is also scope to get involved with various improvement projects depending upon where your skills and passions lie.

Briefly, you will be looking at current production processes, methods, schedules, machine availability and waste management while ensuring that the organisations processes comply with policies, laws and regs as well as best practice.

You'll be there looking at the costs of different ways of doing things to assess whether there is a better way in terms of finance and opportunity as well as getting involved with the purchase, installation and training associated with new equipment.

You will need to have a strong background in manufacturing, possibly with a mechanical bias, but more importantly, a curious nature and a thirst for looking for improvements.

Naturally, you will need to be able to analyse manufacturing processes, produce a report and be numerically adept while having a commercial nature.

Ideally you will have experience in the modular or off-site construction sector as well as formal Lead training; possibly as a Lean Practitioner.

On offer is a salary up to £36000 depending on your level of expertise, 23 days leave plus Bank Holidays and your birthday, well being days, a Nest Pension Scheme and the opportunity of being able to make the role your own that can only exist within a growingbusiness.
