Job Purpose


The Senior Product Expert, Supply Chain Execution within the GP&T ERP team is a key role within GSK supporting our ambitions for a digital supply chain.


The Senior Product Expert is responsible for working with the business to deliver the roadmap for their product domain, in collaboration with the global product owner.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for codeveloping and executing product roadmaps for the following products within the supply chain execution domain: direct procurement, including related data management and orchestration tools
  • Product management: Accountable for managing the product backlog and prioritizing all Digital & Tech services, in alignment with business partners, for their respective product domain. Ensuring continuous feedback from business customers and end users. Connecting with other tech groups as required to align and agree plans.
  • Quality, Risk & Compliance: Accountable for ensuring all products supporting the business are compliant with internal security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Service Management: Engaging, as needed, with outsourced Level 3 support teams in the Supply Chain Execution area for related products
  • Process Improvement: Contributing to ongoing product and business process improvements, embedding agile
  • Integrations: In collaboration with Solution Architecture, ensure that data integrations are efficient, accurate and secure. This also includes building reporting capabilities that support both operational reporting as well as analytic reporting.
  • People Management: Accountable for the management of agency / third party workers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering / IT or equivalent
  • Extensive handson experience in SAP Configuration experience in one or multiple of core SAP ECC modules ideally including procurement and materials management.
  • Very good understanding of procurement business processes
  • Excellent relationship management, strong influencing, and communication skills at senior level.
  • Good understanding and experience on Agile Methodology and Product Management
  • Experience of multiple delivery cycles (agile/waterfall)
  • Strong communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to influence leadership and decisionmaking using data
  • Collaboration with immediate team and other related cross product areas
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of S/4 Hana for the related area
  • Knowledge relating to ABAP / development of SAP code
  • SAP PLM / Recipe management technologies
  • Automated Decision Making (ADM)
