The role of HR Adviser provides great variety and the opportunity to add value by supporting leaders and managers in a wide range of HR matters.

We are seeking someone who will thrive in a fast moving and intellectually demanding environment and who enjoys finding innovative solutions to novel situations, whilst managing competing priorities.

You will work flexibly, decisively and collaboratively alongside colleagues to meet customer expectations.

You need to have the analytical ability, coupled with the communication and interpersonal skills, to build effective relationships and ensure high quality service delivery.


The role is based in Business Partnering and Employee Relations, a large team that provides support to leaders and managers across our five faculties, Professional Services departments and the Advanced Manufacturing Group.

Our teams provide a wide range of support on matters such as recruitment and talent attraction; contracts; change management; sickness, capability, disciplinary and grievance casework; and other strategic HR developments.

As an HR Adviser, you will be aligned to a number of departments and act as their primary point of contact for a range of HR matters, working alongside the rest of the team and wider HR service to ensure excellent service delivery.
