Stonegate Farmers are currently seeking a Hygiene Opertive to join the Hygiene Department based within their Head Office in Lacock, Wiltshire.

As a Hygiene Operative, you will be responsible for providing guidance and training to the departmental hygiene operatives, ensuring all hygiene regulations and requirements are upheld.

Role & Responsibilities:

Carrying out daily cleaning of machinery and factory areas
Ensuring high standards of GMP are being met
Adherence to COSHH regulations and safe handling of chemicals always.
Adherence to Company hygiene rules and procedures

Person Specification:

Have a good eye for detail
Be Methodical
Well Organised
Good level of spoken and written English
Team player
Excellent Organizational Skills
Work Well Under Pressure

Qualifications / Experience:

Knowledge of hygiene within a production environment is essential for this role
Previous experience within Food Production is desirable but not essential
Level 2 or above Food Safety and HACCP is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
Must be willing to undertake both food safety qualifications during probationary period. Employment confirmation is based on ability to pass these mandatory qualifications.

Salary:
£13.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40.25 per week
