The Digital and ICT Service are delivering exciting change to South Tyneside, and we have vacancies to support a new Service Design Programme.

We are looking for motivated, passionate people to join our team as a Service Designer, Delivery Manager, Senior UX Designer, Business Analyst and Digital Officer.


We are in an exciting period of change, with the recent launch of the Our Council Change Programme and the South Tyneside Vision, Ambitions and Strategy.

Our workforce supports around 155,000 residents across the Borough of South Tyneside and Digital and ICT is instrumental in supporting colleagues to work effectively and efficiently meeting the needs of our residents, businesses and partners.


As Service Designer, you will lead on the end-to-end design of digital services working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to scope, develop and deliver new and updated service processes and technologies across different user channels.

You will champion user centred design and agile software development practices, and work with leadership in the Digital and ICT Service to embed standards and learning across the Council.
