Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for a long-term post? Would you like to work in a fantastic small, traditional Primary school with a class size of just 8?

Tradewind is pleased to be working with this exceptional school to help them secure a Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to start as soon as possible


Primary Teacher - Year 3 and 4 mixed class of just 8 pupils

School located in Royston between Letchworth and Cambridge

Exceptional behaviour from able children who want to learn

Long term maternity cover for two terms with a possibility of becoming permanent

Salary based on experience but will match MPS 1 to 6 - £145 to £205 per day

About the School


This is a traditional small primary school located in a rural part of Hertfordshire between Letchworth Garden City and Cambridge.

What it lacks in size it makes up for in charm and is a truly ideal place to be educated or to teach.

Class year groups aremixed and due to maternity, the school is looking to bring in a teacher for a minimum of two terms from January who will be responsible for a mixed year 3 and 4 class.


Role requirements

  • QTS to teach in a Primary setting. This role is suitable for both experienced and Early Career Teachers with full support and professional development available for both.
  • A motivated and dedicated professional who is keen to be part of a small school community.
  • A teacher who will act as a permanent employee at all times attending after school meetings, parents evenings and carrying full planning and assessment duties.
