Role Summary:


An opportunity for a Finance Business Partner has arisen in the Investments Commercial Finance Team to partner with the Private & Alternative Assets business.

The business is going through an exciting period of growth which makes this role an interesting andchallenging position.

The role is broad based - expect to get involved in commercial analysis for new growth initiatives, drive business performance and support plans for the future.

You will establish yourself as a valued, respected and trusted partner tothe business - through advising, supporting and appropriately challenging senior management to enable effective financial decision-making.

The role will suit someone with a commercially focused mindset and with excellent interpersonal skills.


Responsibilities:

Provide Business Partnering support to the Business Line Heads and act as a senior advisor on all financial aspects - providing insight, advice and be a critical friend
Collaborate with Business Line Heads to influence and develop a challenging but achievable business plan annually; expertly communicate the strategic objectives, initiatives and economics
Lead on quarterly Business Line reviews - using data-driven analysis and suitable MI - provide comprehensive insight into the actual performance and leading indicators that drive performance of the business; communicate risks and opportunities impacting targets
Undertake financial appraisals and make recommendations on all investment decisions such as new products, pricing and other commercial initiatives as they affect the business
Monitor flows, AUM & revenue projections and ensure effective management and oversight of expenses and headcount (Workday)
Gather inputs and update Oracle EPM to support the preparation and analysis of the quarterly forecasts and three year plan
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis, assisting in key projects and business support when required
Build strong and effective relationships within Finance and work collaboratively with other Finance Teams to ensure that monthly results, quarterly forecasts and annual plans are accurate and well understood
Continually strive to understand the Private & Alternative Assets business and develop insights from external market data
Contribute effectively to the continuous improvement of the Finance function, its processes, systems and controls
