Part Time, Fixed Term - 12 months
This is a part-time twelve month's fixed term contract to support the council's priorities in relation to migration.

The position is within the Bristol Refugee Resettlement Team and will benefit from peer knowledge on refugee resettlement, provision for asylum seekers and people with no recourse to public funds and models for inclusion.


The role will lead on the development of the council's Refugee, Asylum Seeker and Inclusion strategy and the working group to support this.


The position will also provide briefings to a range of stakeholders on new government initiatives, guidance and legislation relating to migration.

You need to have experience of working with migrant communities and understading of the issues experienced by migrant communities.

You need to have experience of partnership working and strategic development.

How do I apply?

For permanent Bristol City Council employees, this post will be a secondment.

For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.

If you are currently a casual worker or a member of an employment agency (currently working with Bristol City Council) this post will be a fixed term contract.
