Our client is one of the leading producers of gripping, high-quality scripted film and TV.

We are seeking an experienced lawyer, with TV/film experience, to join the business as Director of Legal and Business Affairs, advising on all commercial and legal aspects of development, production, & financing matters for its scripted drama slate.

Reporting to the Head of Legal & Business Affairs, you will negotiate, draft and review the full range of agreements in the context of UK film, television and digital development and production (e.g. development agreements, production commissioning agreements,co-production agreements, first look agreements as well as contributor, talent, location, facilities, supplier and access agreements).

You will have a strong technical grounding from a top law firm or media business with expertise in feature film and/or television, ideally in the area of scripted production.

Experience of advising or working with broadcasters, distributors and producers is required.

Our client offers a hybrid working policy with 3 days per week working from their offices in the heart of London.
