Overview:
Looking for an Assistant Manager to join the Actuarial team.

The team provides advice on a wide range of issues including but not limited to:
auditing, corporate governance, risk advisory, actuarial loss-reserving and pricing. Clients include London underwriters,Syndicates at Lloyd's and P&I clubs.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the existing team in offering a range of actuarial services and tools to a portfolio of clients within the insurance industry. This is expected to primarily include reserving and Solvency II work but may also cover risk modelling / IFRS 17 and datascience.
  • Confidently contribute to client meetings at the technical level

Requirements:


  • Part-Qualified General Insurance Actuary
  • Some experience in one of the following in nonlife reserving: Solvency II Technical Provisions/Solvency II Standard Formula/Capital Modelling/IFRS 17/Risk Management/Pricing
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
