Concord College Summer School is an international community set in the heart of the Shropshire countryside.

The college offers a range of academic courses, as well as English Language and Science courses for students along with a range of recreational activities to students aged 11-16 years during the summer period from July to August.

The excellent academic and recreational facilities provide international students with a fantastic British summer school experience.

SUMMER SCHOOL MINIBUS DRIVER - SESSION 1

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Minibus Driver to join session 1 of our 2024 Summer School.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a passionate and driven team in a diverse and fast paced environment.

The role involves the transportation of students attending off campus trips and activities as part of their academic and social programme.

The successful applicant must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as being able to build relationships with our staff and students is essential.

The ability to be flexible to accommodate last minute changes is fundamental to the role.

Applicants must hold a full, clean British driving licence with D1 classification.

It is a requirement that all drivers successfully complete a driving assessment conducted by the College's Transport Team before undertaking any driving duties.

Proficiency in both spoken and written English and previous experience of living or working in the UK is essential.

Course dates:

Session 1:
Tuesday 25 June - Tuesday 16 July 2024

Please note:
The above dates include training days. The post holder will be required to attend at least one allocated induction day.

Drivers will be required on 4 working days of each week between 1 July - 16 July 2024. Hours of work may vary but will be between 3pm and 10pm.
The rate of pay for session 1 is £12.79 per hour.
