Responsibilities:


1 x Hygiene & Reverse Logistics Operative - Full Time, Permanent

Location:
Coventry Distribution Centre

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 18:00-06:00
This is an onsite role at our Coventry DC, CV5 6UQ


Position Summary:


You will be required to work in all areas within the scope of the department and ensure all recycling products are processed correctly following guidelines.

The Hygiene & Reverse Logistics Operative will ensure hygiene levels are maintained to a high standard and all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner complying with AIB/DQMP standards and in accordance with the Food Hygiene, Health and Safety Legislation and within Company procedures.


Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • To ensure a safe working environment for yourself and all other employees / visitors / customers at ALL times
  • To ensure hygiene processes are carried out correctly, recorded and completed within the allotted time and to the set standard
  • To assist in improving hygiene procedures, working practices and working efficiencies
  • To ensure all pest control procedures are followed and recorded effectively
  • To work collaboratively with other departments as required
  • Be able to use a variety of MHE as well as a ride on scrubbing machine and a scissor lift
  • Working at heights and some heavy lifting will be involved
  • To work in a multi temperature food storage environment
  • To work to, have knowledge of and actively promote AIB, DQMP and Work Place Organisation standards
  • To complete all schedules in a timely manner and complete the associated paperwork
  • To ensure all recycling products within the DC are packed and loaded correctly for delivery to designated customers
  • Other Adhoc duties

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:


  • 01 years of related experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as a team with mínimal supervision
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong Health and Safety focus
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent) (Essential)
  • Competent in

Microsoft Office:
Introduction Excel and Word (Essential)

  • Experience of MHE driving (Essential)
  • Previous hygiene experience and working in a physically demanding multitemperature FMCG environment (Desirable)
  • MEWP experience (Desirable)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions
  • This position must pass a postoffer background
