THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Reactive Maintenance Manager, we are looking for a solution-focused individual with significant experience in managing Carpentry planned and reactive maintenance team.
The Carpentry Supervisory operate as part of the management team in the Reactive maintenance department and be involved in the management and supervision of Planned and Reactive maintenance tasks, some of which will be Statutory maintenance, critical to the safe and efficient operation of the University.
To supervise staff /contractors ensuring effective and efficient use of resources and budgets for the completion of reactive and maintenance work.
This role has a direct impact on the student and staff experience and helps us achieve our strategic goals.
To succeed in this role, you will put the customer at the heart of everything you do, have a broad up-to-date knowledge of carpentry, health and safety, and substantial knowledge in a simpler role and good practices required to deliver these services within HED.
