We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our client, a reputable main contractor who have been operating for over 20 years.
They work across a number of sectors, with dedicated National teams experienced in producing high quality outcomes for Retail, Commercial & Finance, Public & Government, Leisure & Hospitality.
Their teams work to provide first class refurbishments and fitouts in offices, shops, staff rooms, restaurants and more across the UK.
You will provide a central point of communication and interface with regard to specific projects on a day to day basis within Retail and Hospitality.
You Will:
- Responsible for all stages of the project delivery scoping, programming, costing, H&S and delivery.
- Manage multiple projects (3/4 new builds & 2/3 refreshes), for one main client, in an efficient and effective manner relative to both the project and client expectations.
- Contribute towards and ensure the delivery of project objectives whilst consistently focusing on profit margins.
- Complete weekly site audits relative to both H&S and programme progress on all live sites.
- Identify customer requirements and communicate these clearly and concisely to design personnel, project coordinators, site managers and suppliers.
- Ensure Site Managers are fully briefed in advance of the project, and understand all requirements and expectations.
- Ensure projects meet building control requirements and any other regulatory bodies as required, including planning, warrants and structural.
- Take the lead and overall responsibility to ensure projects adhere to internal health and safety policies.
- Write Small Works Plans and Construction Phase Plans for each project and submit to H&S Dept for checking. And deal with asbestos report as necessary.
- Oversee the management of subcontractors' performance, programme adherence, quality and value together with the Operations Manager and put measures in place to address performance which is falls below expectation.
- Ensure commercial opportunity, risk and change controls are delivered effectively on projects to achieve agreed margin and profit targets.
You Will Need:
- CSCS Gold Card
- Asbestos awareness (UKATA)
- First Aid at Work
- Valid UK Driving licence
- Previous experience within shop fitting
