Are you an experienced Event Manager? If so, here is an exciting opportunity to join one of London's largest public sector organisations.


Role overview:


In this role as an Events Liaison Manager, you will be part of the STARS project (sustainable travel: active responsible safe) and help to design and deliver the STARS accreditation Top School Awards.


You will be responsible for organising and running an engaging and educational Top Schools Awards to raise the profile of the STARS programme.

You will design and delivery the Top School Awards, promote the awards, organise the event and oversee the smoothrunning of all logistics.

In terms of the contract itself


Key Information:


  • Location: Westminster/Hybrid
  • Hours: 35 hours
  • Daily rate: £224.69 PAYE
Contract Duration: 4 months


  • Start Date: January

Experience:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and an ability to forge positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of working with creative practitioners and/ or public speakers in a cultural setting
  • Experience of programming events, activities, or experiences for the public
  • Excellent project management and administrative skills with attention to details
  • Relevant educational background to support the development of the activities for the day and an understanding of the school environment and teachers as an audience
  • Experience in live events or similar, with the ability to problem solve under pressure and work to deadlines.
