PermanentLiquid Personnel is currently looking for experienced Probation Officers to join our client in London.

As a successful Probation Officer, you will undertake a full range of offender management tasks with offenders under supervision including assessment, sentence implementation and producing reports; utilising service procedures and practice directions to underpinprofessional judgement.

Your duties as a Probation Officer in London:

  • As a successful Probation Officer, you will provide professional advice and assessment, including written reports to courts, the Parole Board, other criminal justice agencies and partner organisations
  • You will undertake the full range of offender management tasks with offenders assessed at all levels of risk of serious harm including high and very high
  • You will use computerbased systems to produce, update and maintain records and other documentation within agreed timescales
  • You will be supporting service users through visits and reports
  • You will be liaising with outside agencies to create a plan to help rehabilitate offenders

Requirements as a Probation Officer include:

  • Qualified as a Probation Officer
  • Degree in criminology, police studies, community justice or criminal justice
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Previous experience in a qualified Probation Officer role
