JOB DESCRIPTION CONSULTATION CO-ORDINATOR

Programme Director


Job Context:

St George's House is part of the College of St George, a community of clergy and laity based in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The other constituent parts of the College are St George's Chapel and St George's School.


The House, located in the grounds of Windsor Castle, was founded in 1966 by HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh and the then Dean, the Right Reverend Robin Woods.

Their intention was to establish a safe physical and intellectual space where people can gather to discuss topics of national and international significance.

That remains the purpose of the House to this day.


Working in a small team of Consultation Co-ordinators, you will help to deliver an annual programme of Consultations, lectures, cultural events and online activity through effective planning and administration.


Person Specification:

We are looking for someone with:

  • 1. Proven administrative skills
  • 2. Experience of or willingness to learn social media and maintaining website content
  • 3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • 4. Excellent knowledge of IT, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • 5. Experience of or a willingness to learn to use, amongst others, Zoom, YouTube, Filmora, Canva and Mailchimp.
  • 6. Understanding of budgets
  • 7. Excellent interpersonal skills
  • 8. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • 9. Ability to work flexible hours with some evening and weekend work as required by the programme.

Summary of terms:

The terms are as follows:

  • 1. This is a full-time position.
  • 2.

Salary:
£26,000 per annum.

  • 3.
Annual leave: 25 days plus public holidays.

  • 4.

Normal place of work:
St George's House, Windsor Castle.

  • 5.


Normal working pattern: 9am to 5pm (1hr lunch) Monday to Friday with some flexibility required for occasional evening and weekend work.


Salary:
£26,000.00 per year
