Sales Executive
Reports to:
Head of Sales - UK and Europe
Purpose of the role
- Support the sales function
- Manage inbound enquiries through quotation and pricing
- Provide a high level of commercial customer service and account management to the company's expanding range of customers, distributors, and partners
Key responsibilities
Sales and Account Management
- Sales pipeline management from initial enquiry, through to quotation and followup to secure the sale
- Ensuring that all sales communications received are processed in a structured and timely manner
- Full responsibility for the management and development of certain key accounts
- Meeting and exceeding set sales targets as agreed with the Sales Manager
- Supporting marketing requirements for the different regions
- Generating and qualifying new business opportunities to achieve sales growth
Customer Service, Aftersales and Reporting
- Manage the centralised inbox to ensure efficient response rates
- Answer inbound telephone correspondences and offering a high level of customer service
- Manage customer support and technical enquiries with the technical support team through the CRM System
- Process all quotations and pricing requests inline with the sales teams' commercial objectives
- Handlethecommercialaspectsoftheaftersalesservicingandrepairprocess
- Partake in any reasonable training necessary to support the role
- Prepare regular monthly reports and sales presentations as require
- Control pricing and discounting strategies to maximise sales growth inline with the global pricing policy
- Undertake any reasonable duties that may be required by colleagues or managers within the commercial team
Hours of Work
- 36 hours/week, Monday to Friday, although hours may vary depending on business needs
Person Specification
- Demonstrate high performance in a previous sales or customer service role
- Goalorientated and a selfstarter with a desire to make improvements
- Have a curious and quick learner mindset
- Be a team player within a diverse team
- Good computer literacy, knowledge of Office 365 and CRM desirable
- Demonstrate a cando attitude and not afraid to take on new projects
