A primary school in Hackney is looking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full time basis.

The role is to start ASAP and run for the remainder of the academic year. Working hours are 8:30 - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday

About the role
The school are looking to appoint a proactive and engaging Early Years Teaching Assistant on a long term basis. The role involves providing whole class support within a Reception classroom. You will be providing whole class support, supporting children with a range of abilities and needs across the curriculum.

This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring teacher looking to gain further classroom experience.


Requirements:


  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with working with children with special education needs is a plus
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young learners
  • Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning experiences for children
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the classroom and individual students

Pinnacle Learning compliance requirements include:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or willingness to put one into process
  • 2x professional references
  • CV covering 10 year employment or education history and all employment breaks must be explained

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm


Salary:
£80.00-£95.00 per day
