Window Administrator - salary to £25,000

Glasgow based Russell Timber Technology is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of energy efficient, sustainable and precision engineered timber and alu-clad windows and doors.

They supply and install for large scale new build and refurbishment, private and public housing projects.

Due to continuing growth and a strong order book, they are looking to recruit an experienced Window Administrator to work in the Technical Group who are responsible for material purchasing for the manufacture of window and door sets.

This is an office based role in Whiteinch, Glasgow the hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday and reports to the Technical Supervisor.

The role is primarily responsible for

Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and site managers
Assisting with technical support
Retrieving information through the interpretation of client's design drawings, specifications and surveyor's sketches
Acquiring precise dimensions & specifications to ensure the customer's order is manufactured accurately
Creating schedules for manufacture for client sign off/approval
Ensuring costs are accurately recorded and relayed to the customer

You must be a proficient user of Excel (data input, sorting, filtering and formatting), with a minimum of 2 years similar experience in a technically biased admin role, preferably gained within manufacturing, joinery or construction.

Experience of reading/interpreting technical drawings is preferred but product specific training will be given, naturally you will be a confident communicator and used to dealing with people at all levels.

Salary:
Up to £25,000.00 per year
