Are you a maternity support worker with a desire to share your experience and knowledge as part of our infant feeding and nurture team? Do you strive to meet service users' needs through high-quality care? If the answer is yes we'd love you to be a part of our team.


The Royal United Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is accredited by UNICEF UK as a Baby Friendly Maternity Service and as part of our team you will offer a person-centred, evidence based, compassionate approach to support for colleagues and service users.

Maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out specialist infant feeding and nurture support for families. Independently coordinate the specialist infant feeding and nurture clinical work on a day to day basis.

Support the infant feeding and nurture midwife to maintain the UNICEF UK Baby Friendly standards through staff training and mentoring and taking part in audits of staff knowledge and skills and parents experiences.

Work in partnership with colleagues across the Royal United Hospitals NHs Foundation Trust and the Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board to support projects to develop and support innovation and progress to meet the needs of babies, their mothers and families.

Provide support and supervision for the Breastfeeding Peer Support team
