Fiinu's Plugin Overdraft is an unbundled overdraft solution which allows customers to have an overdraft with Fiinu Bank without changing their existing bank.

The underlying Bank Independent Overdraft technology platform is bank agnostic, allowing Fiinu Bank to serve all other banks' customers.

Open Banking allows Fiinu's Plugin Overdraft to attach ("plugin") to the customer's primary bank account, no matter which bank they may use.

Purpose of Role/job Overview

• You will set the data strategy and design for the business around the way it ingests data sources from third parties to support the business. You will be the data lead on the cloud design programme, to meet business objectives and programme deliverables, defining the data engineering policies and frameworks required.
• You will liaise closely with Internal and external organisations on data governance and management decisions.
• Develop and direct the roadmap for data services, and oversight of delivery, ensuring live products are supported and maintained
• Build and develop the capabilities necessary to deliver, including resources and architecture

Key Accountabilities

• Experience in architecting and engineering data analytics platforms on Amazon AWS using technologies like, SQL Servers, Data lakes, DBT transformations, Orchestration platforms and other ETL processes and services.
• Experience with frontend Reporting tools
• Experience and understanding of development frameworks, engineering operating models using DataOps principles, and cloud engineering.
• Proven track record of working with agility, evidencing experience or extensive knowledge of concepts such as design thinking, DataOps, agile development and CI/CD.
• Excellent understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and all that it entails.
• Significant experience in data engineering and leading associated technical teams.
• Strengths in combining rigour and discipline with a pragmatic approach to deliver the highest quality costeffective solutions within set timeframes.
• Business data requirement gathering and working with finance teams GL reporting etc

• Data Modelling

• Creation of conceptual, logical and physical data models
• Change management confident managing complexity and planning through change
• Strong leadership skills and experience, with emphasis on carrying out projects in a matrix organisation and ability to build consensus across different stakeholder groups
• Consistent track record of aligning with and collaborating across Technology teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions
• Keeping up to date with data regulations and changes (FCA)
• Continuously monitors and understands the internal Customer data requirements and delivers data strategy to meet the needs of the Business today and in the future

Other Activities

• Handson participation in the implementation of the data landscape across AWS and 3rd parties
• Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders
