S Knights Recruitment are a specialist Employability and Skills recruitment agency. We recruit for College and Training Providers across the UK.

Introduction:

We are currently recruiting for an Employer Engagement Officer for one of our Education and Training Clients.

Our client are involved in a variety of government-funded provisions where they support people into work and also deliver trade-based and vocationaltraining to people.

They are looking for a motivated and skilled Employer Engagement Officer who has a background in sales/business development or recruitment to place participants into sustainable employment.

This is a permanent full-time role that is basedin Walsall and Halesowen.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As an Employment Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for:

Engaging with employers to generate vacancies ready for participants to progress into sustainable employment
Generating leads for business with existing and potential employers using various approach such as cold calling, presentations etc
Develop strong relationships with employers, partner organisations and job centres to have a consistent flow of opportunities/vacancies and referral
Maintain up to date records accurately and report to line manager regularly
Achieve and exceed targets and KPIs

Experience and Skills:
As an Employment Engagement Officer, you will need the following to be successful:

Relevant background experience in sales, employer engagement, commercial recruitment or business development
A qualification at level 4 or equivalent is desirable
Strong knowledge of growth sectors and labour market
Knowledge of Microsoft products such Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Highenergy individual and has excellent communication skills
