Job Description:


Our Programme Advisory team specialises in the strategy, set-up and transformation of major programmes and asset owning enterprises within the transport, defence, utilities, and power sectors in the UK and internationally.

The Opportunity:

As a Senior or Principal Consultant your key responsibilities will include (some flexible dependent upon grade):

  • Working collaboratively alongside our technical-focused Digital teams to develop and deliver holistic Business Change solutions appropriate for the client
  • Leading Change and Transformation workstreams, providing guidance and direction to team members and client staff
  • Leading the delivery of key client deliverables (e.g., change strategies, communication & engagement plans, presentations, and reports)
  • Designing and facilitating client workshops and presentations
  • Managing client relationships
  • Identifying and realising business development opportunities
  • Leading or contributing towards the preparation of bid proposals or managing key bids
  • Leading internal initiatives within the Programme Advisory team, such as the development of transformation products and methodologies
  • Mentoring junior members of the Programme Advisory team
  • Line managing junior staff (where applicable)

Qualifications:


  • Ideally experience working in a consulting environment (other consultancies or as an internal consultant) or be able to demonstrate a consulting skillset
  • Team Leadership in Business Change environments
  • Design of Digital and Agile focused strategies / Transformation programmes
  • Experience of Data / Information Management best practice
  • Strong appreciation of cultural drivers on business change projects
  • Design and implementation of agile / data / digital focused process improvements
  • Experience of Agile programme / project management within a complex change environment with multiple workstreams (e.g. digital operating model transformation programmes)
  • Experience of complex digital change in a Waterfall governance environment
  • Building business engagement through Stakeholder Management & Communication within large and complex organisations
  • Conducting user research / testing including the design and facilitation of client workshops
  • Managing the production of highquality change and transformation deliverables within challenging timescales
  • Experience developing client relationships and developing new business opportunities
  • Change management and transformation qualifications are favourable (e.g., MSP, APMG Change Management Foundation/Practitioner)
  • Experience of working in diverse teams in both physical and virtual environments, demonstrating inclusion of different experiences and skill sets to deliver holistic quality for the client
