Description
City Site Solutions are looking for a Temporary Works Co-ordinator for a new commercial build project in Newport.Accountabilities-Competently manage all temporary works, taking responsibility for the delegation of tasks where appropriate, and accountability for the process as a whole
- Understanding the roles of others on site, and involved in any temporary works
- Understand BS5975, the code of Best Practice for Temporary Structures on Sites
- Accountable for all statutory aspects of temporary works
- Conduct risk assessments and method statements
- Consultation with Principal Designer and with construction team to consider the overall constructability of the development
- Responsible for ensuring that all temporary works are adequately controlled and implemented on the site
- Responsible for the permit to load ensuring that all appropriate steps have been taken to ensure the stability of the temporary structure
- Check periodically that the temporary works have not been altered since being constructed on site and then before loading
- Responsible for overseeing the temporary works from creating the register and design briefs through to inspection and quality checks
- Ensure that all temporary works responsibilities have been allocated and accepted by other members of the team
- Supervision and checking of TW
- These duties include supervision of the erection, use, maintenance and dismantling of temporary works
- Experience in a Temporary Works Coordinator role
- Leadership experience

- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Job Type:

Contract length: 12 months
Salary:
£300.00-£350.00 per day
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Newport: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
