Description
We are looking to appoint an administrator to provide relevant information and support to staff and external agencies, to support the provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) at a school.
The administrator's duties and responsibilities involve:
- Managing and developing procedures, records and systems for SEND administration, maintaining a high standard of record keeping
- Providing administrative support, including creating documents and reports using a range of ICT programmes to support an efficient and effective practice
- Operating and maintaining an effective system for filing of all documents, including the SEND register, ensuring that all legal data record requirements are maintained
- Coordinating and undertaking general administration
- Maintaining SEND and welfare files
- Coordinating, administering and taking meetings minutes
- Supporting the production of Annual Reviews and other statutory paperwork
- Supporting with the administration of transition for students with SEND
- Generating SEND information from our school database and other monitoring systems
- Maintaining accurate financial records, including invoices, standing orders and payments for resources
- Assisting in the implementation of system and procedural changes resulting from new and revised policies and legislation
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£22,375.00-£24,050.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- SE14: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:
- Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
Experience:
- Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
