SEN TA


We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN TA to join our team, working with a student who has special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, and behavior problems.

As a SEN TA, you will provide support to students, helping them to access the curriculum and develop their social, emotional and academic skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide onetoone support for year 1 child with ASD, ADHD, and behavior problems
  • Help to plan and deliver appropriate activities and interventions to meet students' individual needs
  • Monitor and record students' progress, and report to the class teacher and SENCO
  • Promote positive behavior and manage challenging behavior in line with the school's behavior policy

Requirements:


  • Experience of working with children with ASD, ADHD, and behavior problems, preferably in a school setting
  • A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, CACHE Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning, etc.)
  • Good understanding of SEND and how to support children with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy and a positive attitude
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract


Salary:
£80.00-£95.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Southall: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Special education: 1 year (required)
